| WYMAS PTS AVL | | Thorcom and WYMAS Announce Ambulance AVL Project | Thorcom Systems Limited is pleased to announce that it has been successful in its bid to provide an automatic vehicle location (AVL) system to the Patient Transport Service of West Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service NHS Trust (WYMAS). When the equipment is installed, it will help significantly increase the utilisation of the WYMAS PTS fleet.

The solution utilises a Vodafone GPRS bearer, and is fully migrateable to the new O2 Airwave TETRA service in the future, if required.
